Part 3: Silver Bells of Joy

Image
Three months had passed, and it was now December 24th, the day before Christmas had finally arrived. For the past three years, Yen Sid had spent it quietly, not wanting to scare or overwhelm the little girl in his home, but now she was eight, and had all the memories of prior christmases, which had been spent in companionship of all sorts of family members. He trusted she would be able to cope, and might even delight in the idea he had planned, so he turned his wizard hat into a red santa hat and gave a silly grin to the mirror, before hearing Percy banging rapidly on a bell he owned, one that sounded like a church bell despite how small it was. That was his cue! He went downstairs, only to see the brooms were sweeping and dancing, having switched on the radio and jiving to Christmas tunes. He gave a smile, and looked about the workshop. With three floors, it would be perfect to put an enormous tree in the wide open space, instead of a little one they kept in the attic. Having a p...

Part 2: The Magic of Memories

Far away, in a place known as Nocturne, a man with bright purple robes and glasses was counting some trinkets on his table. His apartment overlooked the city centre, a balcony allowing him to see far over the crowds of people and bustling streets, to the point that he could even see the local cinema in the distance. The meeting was just a regular discussion of the current state of affairs, but to be frank the man found it hilarious he was invited. Hilarious, and ironic all at once, considering he didn’t particularly like politics, but getting to see the master and his brother had reminded him of this bet, so he made...

Part 1: A Glitchy Beginning

It was cleaning day, and Yen Sid and his apprentices were all doing their part in washing, drying and folding in order to keep the castle they all called home squeaky clean. Oswald was putting some of the wet clothes into a dryer, Mickey was folding some towels into a basket, which he was pretty sure had Julius hiding at the bottom, and Scout was wiping down some of the surfaces while listening to her songs on her headphones. Meanwhile, Yen Sid and Golden were washing the dishes, though with varying degrees of enthusiasm. Golden was the youngest at seven years old, and she was drying off the plates, though she was in a bit of a mood. “Careful not to break those, child.” Yen Sid warned, whilst using magic to dry his own set of plates and stack them neatly into a pile. “Sure, just like you didn’t break my back that one time?” she mumbled, Yen Sid giving her one of his curious yet cautious stares, raising one eyebrow as he often would. “What was that, Golden?” he asked, the girl look...
